After 15 min we’ll continue into Vizcachani and the wetlands of Toccra, where you’ll see: alpacas, llamas and different varieties of wild birds. The next place we’ll visit will be Patampampa, the highest point of the trip with 4900 m.a.s.l. From here one is able to see the Chila Mountains, as well as the volcanoes: Ampato, Sabancaya, Hualca Hualca and Mismi (considered as the origin of the Amazon River). From this point on we’ll begin to descend into the Colca’s National Park, first arriving at Chivay.
