All the shared tourist transports are operated in daily departures with units that have all the necessary permits for a safe and efficient operation, are operated by experienced drivers and professional guides who speak English and Spanish. The units we use are high-roof Sprinter Vans (Mercedes-Benz, Renault or Peugeot) of 18 passengers and medium-sized buses of 24 to 30 passengers all are equipped with air conditioning, reclining seats and oxygen. During this walk you will visit Yanque’s plaza, its colonial church, as well as its museum where, among other things, you will see a replica of the Juanita mummy and an exhibition of all the colonial churches in Colca.Second day: TREKKING AND ADITIONAL ACTIVITIESYou’ll have this morning clear to relax and enjoy the hotel, or if you like we can organize for you (with an additional cost) a guided horseback or bike ride. In both cases you’ll visit different points of interest around the town of Yanque.In the case of the horseback ride there’s no need to have experience with this animal. The horses are trained and used to the routes. Also, you will always count with the support of a guide. However, in the case of the bike ride, you need to be in very good shape and to have performed this activity before.At the end of your chosen activity, you can rest on the hammocks or in your private balcony or terrace. Then, if you like, you can enjoy a refreshing lunch in our restaurant.In the afternoon, you could start with us a guided trek of approximately three hours. During this trek we’ll visit Oqolle’s Amphitheater (Pre-Inca terraces), we’ll cross the Sifón Bridge (where you’ll see the colcas) and arrive at the Uyu Uyu ruins, from where you will see a panoramic view of the Canyon and the town of Yanque.Last day: YANQUE - CRUZ DEL CÓNDOR - AREQUIPAAt 6:00 am a tasty breakfast will be served in the hotel’s restaurant and then we’ll leave for the viewpoint “Cruz Del Cóndor” where we’ll stay for about an hour and a half. In this beautiful place one can feel the magnitude of the Colca Canyon by seeing it in all its deepness and immensity. Moreover, you’ll be able to see the flight of the condor at a very close range.During the return we’ll pass through the towns of Pinchollo, Maca and Achoma. There, we’ll see archaeological remains, Pre-Inca agricultural terraces and astonishing panoramic views of the canyon.We’ll reach Chivay around 12:15 pm, where you will have time enjoy a tasty lunch and have short break before returning to the city of Arequipa.
